This course explores the techniques of plated desserts and the theory behind edible art. In other words, this is the pretty plates class. It is quite challenging. A finished plate may contain up to seven recipes and as many cooking methods. This class really took me from my comfort zone. This class really made me feel of balance. I feel confident baking, but not so confident as a decorator. While I won't start a wedding cake business anytime soon, thanks to Chef Elizabeth, I now have a bit more confidence in my ability as a decorator.
